Environmentally optimized transport
We at EA are certified according to ISO14001 and work to reduce environmental impact. We are well aware that hauliers have a great impact on the environment, which is why this work is important. EA Åkeri is now one of Sweden’s first hauliers to run on a renewable fuel, HVO. The CO2 savings are up to 90 %. At EA, employees are rewarded for reducing their environmental impact. Overspeed and fuel consumption are two important factors where the employee receives a bonus twice a year when they reach set goals. Please read our policy document.

Our resources are currently located in seven locations; Skara, Göteborg, Flen, Örkelljunga, Jönköping, Linköping and Örebro, where offices, terminals and workshops are located. In Skara, there is also our fridge and freezer terminal where we reload goods so that the degree of filling will be as high as possible. EA measures vehicle utilization and occupancy rate every day to get the most cost-effective transport possible. We always strive to have an environmentally optimized transport with several goods owners and where the return cargo plays an important role. If there are return flows at you customers that can be utilized, the environmental impact will be the best possible.

With our temperature log system in real time, you can have the route monitored so that the goods always keep the cold chain you in turn promise your customer. You can be notified at any time where the car is and when your goods will be delivered.
State-of-the-art vehicles
EA has a modern vehicle fleet equipped with vehicle computers and real-time temperature logs. Vehicles are positioned with direct communication with the driver. Own garage
EA has its own garage and certified staff to service and repair the refrigerator and freezer units. EA works preventively with the crew to reduce downtime and accidents. All vehicles are followed up in a vehicle control system where inspections, service and repairs send reminders well in advance of the current activity. Our goal is for the truck to be used efficiently so that the vehicle is used up after 5 years.
Modern technology offers benefits
At EA, we view modern technology positively, but it must be mature to create the benefits we want. After that, we can implement the technology in the business. All the cars have a vehicle computer that positions the cars and at the same time sends information about how the car is used and its consumption. With data from the vehicle computer, we analyze the driver’s driving style and coach in cases where it is needed. The vehicle computer is also used to communicate with the driver for new driving assignments or for information only. The positioning means that we do not disturb the driver with unnecessary conversations and he or she can concentrate on the traffic.
